Senior Software Engineer – Compute Control Plane

• Contribute to development of a “Golden Path” reference platform built on Kubernetes and other cloud-native technologies
• Contribute to the roadmap for enterprise features expected from a product platform
• Create and integrate cloud-native technologies and architectures
• Develop best practices, share knowledge, and mentor others
• Collaborate with engineering teams in an Agile environment
• Work in an environment fostering innovative solutions, rapid development cycles, and open communication

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience building and operating highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable production services using Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies
• Experience and solid understanding of containers and related technologies
• Knowledge of the Go programming language
• Comfort leveraging Python or Bash for scripting
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Crossplane, Pulumi, Terraform, or Ansible
• Understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, and HTTP
• Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems
• Experience leveraging CI/CD tools
• Ability to collaborate in an Agile environment
