Senior Full Stack Engineer, Backend Focus

• Build features that encourage buyers to return, including Watch Collection, Wishlist, and user account functionality
• Collaborate closely with product management and UX
• Challenge product ideas and propose simpler solutions
• Design and build backend services and APIs with Java and Spring
• Implement frontend changes required by features
• Maintain reliability in production
• Work as part of a cross-functional Loyalty team owning its product area end to end

• Hands-on experience with Java and its ecosystem
• Experience with testing, CI/CD, and how software runs in production
• Experience with Spring, Maven or Gradle, SQL, and GitLab
• Frontend development experience on at least one platform: web (Vue.js), Android (Jetpack Compose), or iOS (SwiftUI)
• Ability to build and change UI features confidently
• Daily use of AI tools such as Claude Code, with critical review of generated output
• Experience setting up and improving an agentic coding environment is a plus
• Ability to think in terms of problems and assess feature impact
• Ability to write readable, maintainable, and trustworthy code
• Backend focus with willingness to implement frontend changes
• Pragmatic approach to technical decisions
• Willingness to challenge ideas and commit after decisions are made
