Senior Software Developer

• Operate as a technical leader within the team and broader engineering organization
• Create architecture, prototypes, and design proposals aligned with product and platform vision
• Influence technical direction through architecture reviews, RFCs, design discussions, and hands-on collaboration
• Partner with senior developers, architects, and tech leads on the product/platform architecture roadmap
• Break down large initiatives into parallelizable work delivering incremental business value
• Champion proposals from design through production implementation
• Improve the core product build, CI/CD pipelines, and SDLC
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive reliability, observability, monitoring, and incident response
• Maintain technical documentation and create new artifacts
• Facilitate design discussions and represent the team with technical and cross-functional stakeholders
• Mentor developers and raise engineering maturity, including responsible use of AI-assisted development tools
• Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and cloud capabilities
• Build and operate the AWS AgentCore Gateway layer and hosted capabilities
• Develop the target registry and configuration model for customer-registered MCP servers, including tenant isolation, credential handling, allowlisting, and egress control
• Build inbound MCP and adjacent-protocol surfaces with authentication, scope enforcement, and rate limiting
• Build and operate on-premise connectivity with session lifecycle, request correlation, and recovery
• Implement session and scope propagation across agent, gateway, target, and backend
• Design and evolve OpenAPI contracts and target runtimes
• Implement outbound authorization using IAM/SigV4, OAuth, and credential providers
• Maintain versioning of target contracts
• Contribute to end-to-end tracing, SLOs, and gateway observability

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated impact beyond a single team
• Experience designing and operating distributed, cloud-native, SaaS/multi-tenant platforms at scale, ideally on AWS
• Strong software fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, and code quality advocacy
• Experience with agentic-AI software development practices
• Experience designing and consuming HTTP APIs (REST, GraphQL, or similar)
• Experience mentoring developers and influencing architectural decisions across teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• English high B2
• Strong initiative to improve processes, tools, methodologies, and product quality
• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) for LLM agents
• Experience building or operating a multi-tenant gateway or API platform
• Experience integrating with third-party or untrusted endpoints
• Experience with authorization and scope propagation across multi-hop service boundaries
• Experience designing and operating persistent-connection or streaming architectures
• Proficiency with Node.js/TypeScript, AWS Lambda, AWS Bedrock, AWS AgentCore Gateway or similar, OpenAPI, MCP, A2UI, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
