Fullstack Software Engineer – x/f/m

• Build integrations with the customized e-commerce back office, virtual try-on system, suppliers, and partner opticians
• Ship member-facing flows including dynamic catalogs, coverage-tailored purchase flows, prescription scanning, returns, lens upgrades, and extra-pair purchases
• Scale the catalog beyond optics with discovery and personalized navigation for thousands of products
• Address e-commerce rules, invoicing, France's 100% Santé reform, and supplier compliance
• Promote products through the Alan app, campaigns, and Mo, Alan's AI health assistant
• Work with operations on orders, deliveries, and customer service
• Collaborate with product managers, product marketers, operations specialists, designers, data scientists, and engineers
• Own product decisions, outcomes, and a complete domain
• Deploy software daily and monitor outcomes after shipping

• 8+ years building scalable software, with full-stack experience across backend and frontend
• Strong product mindset and ability to understand the why before the how
• Ownership from problem framing through delivery and post-launch measurement
• Comfort with ambiguity and complex problems
• Clear communication with non-engineers in English
• French is a plus
• Humility, curiosity, and interest in making healthcare more accessible
• Experience with e-commerce is a bonus
• Curiosity about e-commerce and healthcare
• Experience with mobile (React Native) or LLM-powered product features is a bonus
• React and React Native frontend experience
• Python/Flask and PostgreSQL backend experience
• Must be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain
• Fluent in English
