Senior Field Service Technician

• Independently carry out commissioning, repairs, and maintenance on complex utility-scale PV plants and battery storage solutions with central inverters
• Perform all required functional tests
• Set up and test plant-level communication, control, and monitoring systems
• Systematically analyze technical faults on site and evaluate the results
• Structured escalation of new or complex fault patterns
• Provide technical direction to and coordinate local teams, service partners, or subcontractors
• Record completed work using service management systems
• Share best practices and conduct regular training and qualification programs

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of photovoltaic technology and an understanding of the components used is an advantage
• Experience in IT network technology and/or medium-voltage technology is desirable
• Class B driving license
• Willingness to travel extensively and flexibility for assignments in Germany and abroad
• Good English skills at B2 level
• Very good German skills at C1 level
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
