Data Scientist / AI Engineer, Life Sciences

• Develop and implement machine learning and AI models to analyze biological, clinical, or technical data
• Build and maintain data pipelines (ETL, integration, and transformation)
• Leverage modern big data technologies to automate processes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across R&D, IT, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance
• Support validation, documentation, and compliance activities in a GxP environment
• Conduct exploratory data analyses to identify patterns, trends, and optimization opportunities
• Present findings and derive data-driven recommendations for action

• University degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Engineering
• Experience developing ML models, data pipelines, and analytical applications
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or comparable tools
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data engineering tools (e.g., Spark, Airflow, Docker)
• At least three years of professional experience in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical technology)
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
