Event-Driven Research Lead

• Own event-driven situations end to end, developing deep, context-rich views and maintaining a running view as facts and narratives evolve
• Monitor and interpret emerging information, separating signal from noise and communicating its impact on decisions and probability trees
• Identify actionable, asymmetric opportunities grounded in a well-developed understanding of each situation
• Contribute to research capabilities by working with engineering on tools and workflows supporting event-driven trading
• Collaborate with on-chain and real-time intelligence teams using proprietary data sources and tooling to pressure-test ideas

• 5+ years in information- and flows-driven research or trading within a tier-1 buy-side or proprietary trading environment
• Demonstrated ability to operate in event-driven settings involving incomplete information, incentives, and evolving situations
• Comfort engaging with a wide range of event-driven situations and quickly building conviction across diverse topics
• Genuine intellectual curiosity about crypto and a credible path to ramping up quickly; deep crypto experience not required
• Ability to go deep into detail while maintaining a holistic view of the situation and its implications
• Ability to hold and adapt coherent views as situations evolve
• Comfort with rigorous debate and constructive challenge across research, trading, and engineering teams
