Frontend Engineer – Part-time

• Develop and continuously improve the chargecloud website using React and Next.js
• Pragmatically improve the existing architecture
• Implement new pages, modules and reusable components
• Integrate Storyblok with the Next.js front end
• Develop Storyblok components, content structures and fields
• Translate approved UX/UI designs into responsive front ends across screen sizes, states, interactions and language versions
• Integrate APIs and external services
• Monitor performance, technical SEO and accessibility
• Ensure quality through technical testing, code reviews and clean releases
• Collaborate with the online marketing team and agency to maintain an achievable technical backlog
• Provide realistic effort estimates and identify risks, technical possibilities and limitations early
• Use AI-powered tools to improve development, testing and documentation efficiency

• A degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical qualification
• Experience in professional front-end development
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React and Next.js
• Practical experience with Storyblok and implementation of components, content structures and fields
• Knowledge of Node.js, npm and API integrations
• Ability to translate UX/UI designs into responsive, maintainable and reusable front-ends
• Knowledge of performance, accessibility and technical SEO
• Experience with Git/GitHub, pull requests, structured testing and release processes
• Ability to work independently, in a structured and pragmatic manner
• Ability to explain technical topics clearly and collaborate with internal teams and agencies
• Fluent English
• Knowledge of German is an advantage
