Functional Analyst

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Gather, document, and validate requirements through user stories and use cases.
• Analyze and document data models to support system design and development.
• Write SQL queries for data and business rule analysis and validation.
• Collaborate with development, testing, and business teams, ensuring alignment between requirements and technical solutions.
• Define and maintain Feature Files, following Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirements reviews.
• Analyze web systems and support the understanding of applications developed in Java and C#.
• Support functional testing, requirements validation, and issue resolution throughout the development lifecycle.

• More than 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong experience in requirements analysis and documentation, including user stories and use cases.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and data modeling.
• Knowledge of Feature Files and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience analyzing web systems, particularly applications developed in Java and C#.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams using Agile methodologies.
• Experience defining clear and testable acceptance criteria.
• Experience supporting functional testing and validating solutions against business requirements.
• Knowledge of test automation and collaboration practices between development and QA teams.
