Mid-level Android Engineer

• Build and maintain features in a native Kotlin app using Jetpack Compose and the internal design system
• Migrate legacy XML screens to Compose
• Implement asynchronous flows such as background uploads during multi-step forms
• Work as the Android developer within a cross-functional feature team, from technical design through release and monitoring
• Participate in code and design reviews
• Support teammates across the Android chapter
• Use AI coding tools in the daily workflow and validate every output before submitting it

• Willingness to work in the Italian time zone with full overlap
• 3+ years of native Android development with Kotlin, with native Android as the main focus in recent years
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
• Good knowledge of asynchronous programming with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
• Experience with dependency injection using Hilt
• Knowledge of clean code principles and architectural patterns, with at least a conceptual understanding of MVI
• Experience consuming REST APIs
• Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude, Codex or similar), with the ability to explain and validate the generated code
• Ability to communicate clearly in English
