Instrument Sales Account Manager

• Manage accounts and customer types across Northern Ireland and surrounding border counties in Ireland
• Focus on Environmental and Life Science applications
• Sell chromatography, spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and Biotek products
• Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed targets
• Acquire new business while maintaining and growing the existing installed base
• Achieve sales quotas and forecasts and drive market share in assigned accounts
• Develop customer relationships and maintain customer satisfaction across the Environmental customer base
• Prospect for new customers and opportunities by showcasing Agilent’s latest NPIs and identifying market trends
• Identify and work with key opinion leaders to develop industry relationships and grow Environmental market share
• Understand customer needs and identify solutions to non-standard tasks and queries
• Collaborate across Agilent channels, including Consumables, Service Delivery, Service Sales, Customer Operations Center, and Cell Analysis Molecular Research
• Work with Field Sales and global marketing teams on marketing programs
• Drive the sales cycle and forecast sales accurately
• Maintain CRM updates, expense reporting, and other required business processes

• PhD, Bachelor's or Master's Degree, University Degree, or equivalent
• 2 years+ experience selling instruments/solutions in Agilent's markets
• Working understanding of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry in an analytical laboratory
• Demonstrable knowledge of the Northern Ireland / Ireland instrumentation laboratory market
• Networking abilities to integrate customer priorities and influence key stakeholders
• Must hold a valid Irish driver’s license
• Fluent in English
• Ability to negotiate and mitigate critical customer issues
• Ability to interface at all levels within an organization for internal and external customers
• Experience working in a laboratory and developing methods for chromatography and mass spectrometry
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Strong internal and external networking ability
• Self-management, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Teaming/collaboration skills, including resource management and team leadership
