SEO Specialist

• Write, edit, repurpose, and publish blog posts and articles from assigned topics, keywords, and content guidelines
• Format and upload content through the CMS
• Check links, images, tags, and overall accuracy before publication
• Optimize meta tags, headings, internal links, images, and anchor text
• Apply keyword use and content structure best practices
• Update existing content as directed
• Support guest content, article submissions, business listings, and external blog outreach
• Assist with local listing updates and website link submissions
• Support sitemap updates, crawl issue reviews, and website improvement tasks
• Assist with social media content preparation and posting as needed
• Coordinate with the SEO manager and team, apply feedback, and meet deadlines

• Hands-on on-page and off-page SEO experience, including optimizing meta tags, headers, and images, working with sitemaps and crawl errors, and submitting listings and articles
• Strong English writing, including articles of 750+ words, blog posts, and guest posts
• Experience uploading and formatting content through a website CMS
• Working knowledge of keyword use, content structure, and internal linking
• Strong editing, proofreading, and attention to detail
• Ability to follow content guidelines and established processes
• On-page SEO knowledge: meta tags, headings, images, internal links, and anchor text
• Keyword-focused content writing, editing, and proofreading
• CMS publishing and formatting, e.g. WordPress
• Guest posting, outreach, business listings, and local SEO
• Technical SEO basics: sitemaps, crawl errors, and site speed
• Google Search Console familiarity
• Content repurposing and social media content preparation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage assigned tasks and communicate progress
• Willingness to learn the team’s tools and workflows
• Ability to meet deadlines and apply feedback quickly
• Computer with at least 8GB RAM and Intel i5/AMD Ryzen 5 processor or higher
• Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
