Presales Consultant – Enterprise Networking & Security

• Provide technical consulting, solution design, and documentation for modern Cisco networking and security solutions for new and existing customers
• Develop and standardize solutions based on Cisco and Cisco Meraki
• Provide end-to-end consulting on Cisco LAN/WLAN and security, including secure network connectivity and segmentation
• Provide technical consulting and design for Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks security solutions, including their integration into Cisco network architectures
• Develop business cases for integrated networking and security solutions
• Support the sales team during customer inquiries and meetings, including configuring Bills of Materials (BoMs) in Cisco Commerce Workspace
• Provide technology expertise for customer and marketing events
• Conduct customer workshops on Cisco Meraki, Cisco DNA/SDA, and network security architectures
• Support Proofs of Value (PoVs) and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) with vendors and internal technical resources
• Collaborate with presales teams at Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Networks
• Manage RFPs and participate in bidder meetings

• Completed vocational training in IT or a technical field, or an equivalent qualification, together with relevant professional experience
• Several years of presales experience advising on and designing Cisco enterprise networking solutions
• Strong knowledge of Fortinet security and practical experience with Palo Alto Networks
• Experience designing secure network architectures, particularly firewalling and segmentation
• CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge preferred
• Relevant security certifications are an advantage
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Analytical mindset and solution-oriented approach
• Goal-oriented, independent, and structured working style
• Willingness to travel and a strong customer focus
• Excellent written and spoken German and English
