Senior Sitecore Developer – Contractor

• Estimate the scale and scope of assigned work tasks and support team members with estimates
• Break down large and complex work into smaller units and establish dependencies
• Support Solution Architects and Technology Leads by brainstorming technical solutions and writing proof-of-concept code
• Develop .NET functionality and applications in Visual Studio
• Develop websites within the Sitecore CMS framework
• Document solutions and ensure they meet design requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative and effective user experiences
• Execute solutions on time and on budget using modern web development methods, techniques, and tools

• 5+ years of progressive development experience using Microsoft .NET, C, ASP.NET/MVC, HTML5 and JavaScript
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting customer-facing websites and APIs preferred
• Prior experience working on a Scrum Team preferred
• Experience integrating web applications
• Ability to articulate complex technology issues to those not as experienced
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Superb problem-solving skills using logic and data
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Strong technical skills using clean and solid programming techniques, web security practices, and design patterns
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Experience with Visual Studio and Sitecore CMS
• Ability to estimate and break down complex work and establish dependencies
