QA Automation Engineer – Freelance

• Write and maintain automated test code from scratch.
• Automate tests using WebdriverIO, Mocha, and Chai.
• Execute automated tests across QA, UAT, and Production environments through CI/CD pipelines.
• Use TestRail or similar tools to track test cases and results.
• Improve existing test automation and make incremental changes to the test code.
• Take ownership of the automation test suite and work independently.
• Collaborate with developers and clients through the recruitment and project process.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and the ability to write and maintain test code from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO for test automation.
• Solid experience with Mocha and Chai.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Drone CI, including executing automated tests across QA, UAT, and Production environments.
• Experience with TestRail or similar test management tools for tracking test cases and results.
• Strong developer mindset — comfortable making incremental changes to test code, improving existing automation, and working without relying on manual testing.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the automation test suite.
• Experience testing Salesforce applications and related architectural changes is nice to have.
• Experience testing standalone React-based applications is nice to have.
• Ability to work during CET hours.
