Mentor – AI-Assisted Software Development, Working Student

• Support a dedicated group of participants and actively guide them throughout the course
• Teach AI-assisted development using GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, and similar tools
• Teach prompting, code generation, and the critical evaluation of AI-generated code
• Conduct regular, individually tailored 1:1 mentoring sessions
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback on submitted assignments
• Document participants’ progress and session content
• Provide feedback on learning materials and help shape the curriculum
• Participate in weekly discussions with mentors and experts about participants and course content

• Remain enrolled as a student for at least one more year
• Be available for an average of 15–20 hours per week
• Strong programming skills in at least one modern programming language
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or Claude for programming
• Good judgment regarding when AI tools are helpful—and when they are not
• Fluent German
• Strong organizational skills and an independent working style
