Data Engineer

• Build and evolve automated, reliable, and scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Participate in migrating CRM pipelines to a modern Databricks-based architecture
• Model and provide data for segmentation and personalization across analytical layers
• Document data and ensure appropriate frequency and latency for batch loads and near-real-time use cases
• Define and monitor data contracts, SLAs, owners, and quality criteria
• Prevent and resolve failures affecting campaigns and analytics
• Build monitoring, telemetry, and proactive alerts
• Integrate the data environment with automation and engagement platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Amplitude
• Support the maintenance of customer journeys and the cleanup of workflows
• Optimize processing performance and costs
• Document solutions, support colleagues, and contribute to best practices and the team's growth

• Proficiency in SQL (modeling, procedures, DML, DDL, and pipelines) and Python
• Experience with cloud data platforms and data lake/lakehouse architectures
• Experience orchestrating pipelines using Airflow, Databricks Workflows, or equivalent tools
• Software engineering best practices, including Git version control, testing, code reviews, and documentation
• Understanding of data quality, governance, and observability, including contracts, monitoring, and alerts
• Familiarity with CRM and engagement platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Amplitude (preferred)
• Knowledge of customer segmentation and CDP concepts (preferred)
• Knowledge of the payments market and financial products (preferred)
