Senior Data Engineer, SQL, Informatica

• Acquire, curate, and publish data for analytical and operational uses across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain data products.
• Consult on data projects and lead the design, development, and implementation of data products.
• Practice code management and integration according to architectural and data governance guidelines.
• Produce advanced data building blocks, data models, and data flows for reporting, dashboards, data feeds, and data science.
• Create business-user access methods for structured and unstructured data.
• Apply common data models, natural language processing, data transformations, AI, statistical computations, and data validation.
• Translate business data stories into technical work breakdowns and estimates for schedules or agile sprints.
• Develop and maintain scalable streaming and batch data pipelines.
• Build API integrations to support increasing data volume and complexity.
• Prepare and cleanse data for downstream reporting through visualization and AI/ML tools.
• Develop data project plans and execute them independently.
• Coach and assist junior associates as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience acquiring, curating, and publishing data on premises and in the cloud.
• Experience with big data, relational and non-relational databases, cloud environments, programming languages, and reporting tools.
• Ability to translate business analytic requests into design, development, testing, deployment, and production maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of data governance concepts.
• Experience developing scalable streaming and batch data pipelines.
• Experience building API integrations.
• Experience preparing and cleansing data for downstream reporting and AI/ML tools.
• Ability to create data models, data flows, data feeds, dashboards, and data science research and exploration resources.
• Ability to work independently on complex data projects and provide coaching to junior associates.
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured data.
