Software QA Tester – Automation Testing

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and regression test suites
• Perform exploratory, functional, regression, integration, and API testing across products and services
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers during requirement refinement, sprint planning, and release validation
• Contribute to automated testing initiatives and improve overall test coverage
• Validate software behavior across multiple browsers, devices, and environments
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement related to product quality and release processes
• Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or quality engineering
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycles, and release processes
• Experience testing modern web applications, APIs, and integrated systems
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and automated regression testing concepts
• Working knowledge of Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Postman, browser developer tools, and SQL
• Understanding of HTTP requests, REST APIs, and client/server application behavior
• Ability to investigate issues, reproduce bugs, and clearly communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in an Agile development environment
• Curiosity, critical thinking, and a proactive approach to improving product quality
• Experience with automated UI testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Experience validating payment flows, transactional systems, or third-party integrations
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment environments
