Senior Frontend Engineer

• Design, build, and ship robust, fast, user-friendly frontend solutions for the Provet Patient Care Experience
• Develop features in the Vue 3/Nuxt frontend and legacy UI
• Build backend features including Django views, JSON:API endpoints, queries, business logic, and tests
• Act as Directly Responsible Individual for initiatives from vague idea to shipped product
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and veterinary domain experts
• Ensure UI/UX technical feasibility and optimize speed and responsiveness for data-heavy pages
• Run AI coding agents daily and improve team workflows, tooling, and guardrails
• Write maintainable code, conduct code reviews, and mentor less experienced engineers
• Troubleshoot complex issues across browser performance and database queries
• Stay current with frontend and AI tooling and advocate useful adoption
• Contribute to development processes, tooling, and infrastructure improvements

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Expert in Vue 3 and Composition API with TypeScript
• Experience with large-scale JavaScript codebases
• Working experience with Python and Django, or strong demonstrated willingness to build backend features
• Deep, daily experience orchestrating AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex
• Strong HTML and CSS fundamentals
• Experience building accessible UI
• Experience building data-heavy, interactive UIs where performance is a feature
• Experience with automated frontend testing, including unit, component, and end-to-end testing
• Full proficiency in English, written and spoken
• Experience in a fast-growing, global SaaS company is ideal
• Experience migrating a legacy frontend incrementally is a plus
• Experience with Nuxt, React, or jQuery-era code is a plus
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD is a plus
