Senior Plastics Engineer

• Review custom plastic components and identify lower-cost materials, geometry, tooling, and manufacturing methods
• Develop rotomolded or thermoformed scrubber-vessel concepts with integrated features
• Drive supplier DFM reviews and incorporate feasible recommendations into CAD and drawings
• Evaluate tooling simplification, part consolidation, assembly reduction, quality risk, and validation needs
• Support nonconformance analysis for injection-molded components
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of plastics product development, process engineering, tooling, or supplier engineering experience
• Experience with injection molding plus at least one of rotomolding or thermoforming preferred
• Experience with polymer material selection, tooling, and supplier DFM
• Experience in part consolidation, wall-thickness control, draft, ribs, bosses, undercuts, shrinkage, warpage, and tolerance design
• Working knowledge of plastic part design, tooling economics, DFM, GD&T, and supplier qualification
• English level B2–C1
