Database Administrator

• Configure, install, and maintain database management systems
• Manage user access and implement data security policies and procedures
• Conduct capacity planning and growth projections based on usage
• Coordinate database project plans with various teams
• Propose and implement system performance and reliability enhancements
• Develop backup and recovery plans
• Support end users and application developers in resolving complex database-system problems
• Manage and administer technological infrastructure, including system base definition, structure, and documentation

• Microsoft Windows Server 2016 implementation and management
• VMware ESXi experience
• Public/private cloud management, especially migration from on-prem to cloud
• Preferred: Automation experience, especially IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)
• Preferred: Vulnerability management
• Preferred: On-prem AD FS (Active Directory Federation Services) with Microsoft Active Directory (AD), and/or Azure AD
