Senior Software Engineer – Java

• Design and implement microservices following Hexagonal Architecture principles
• Contribute to architectural decisions and solution design
• Build event-driven integrations using Kafka, Avro, and Transactional Outbox
• Write comprehensive automated unit, integration, and contract tests
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code-quality standards
• Own assigned topics, identify stakeholders, gather information, and deliver solutions end-to-end
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code in the daily workflow
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from analysis and solution architecture through implementation, testing, and deployment
• Work on business-critical systems related to parcel creation within InPost’s Consumer & Merchant Domain / Send Team

• Senior-level Software Developer
• Strong experience with Java 21+ and Spring Boot, including MVC and/or WebFlux
• Hands-on experience with Kafka
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB
• Good understanding of Hexagonal / Clean Architecture and microservices patterns
• Experience with automated testing, such as Spock or JUnit, Testcontainers, and contract testing
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and GitLab CI
• Solid understanding of OAuth2/JWT-based security
• Proficiency with AI coding tools; Claude Code is the company standard, while GitHub Copilot or Cursor experience is relevant
• Ability to work effectively in complex distributed environments with dozens of microservices and numerous communication channels
• Ability to work with large-scale production traffic and near-100% uptime requirements
• Ability to independently analyse topics, identify stakeholders, gather information, and deliver solutions end-to-end
• Willingness and ability to travel to Warsaw for the final recruitment stage
