Controller – Head of Controlling, CFO Services

• Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the accounting firm: employee performance, recorded vs. billed hours, fees, contribution margins by client engagement, and outstanding or neglected assignments
• Establish a robust KPI system and reporting framework
• Report directly to management
• Independently implement initiatives and corrective measures
• Help build external CFO services for clients
• Develop liquidity planning, forecasts, and early-warning systems
• Leverage AI through the company’s own controlling tool
• Engage directly with German managing directors and entrepreneurs

• Excellent German language skills (at least C1), both written and spoken
• At least 5 years of experience in controlling or finance
• Currently in a position of responsibility, such as Head of Finance, Finance Manager, or Senior Controller
• Experience managing teams or projects
• Highly proficient in Excel
• Already use AI tools as a standard part of your work
• Preferred: Background in tax advisory or auditing
• Preferred: Knowledge of DATEV
• Preferred: Experience with Power BI, SQL, or similar tools
• Preferred: Professional experience at banks, insurance companies, audit firms, or German/Austrian companies
• Professionals returning from Germany, Austria, or Switzerland are especially welcome
• Not suitable for purely accounting-focused profiles, applicants without German-language skills, or entry-level and junior candidates
