Linguists, English to Spanish (Latin America) – Patent

• Translate patent-related content from English into Latin American Spanish while conveying the original meaning clearly
• Follow instructions regarding the translation process and CAT tool usage
• Communicate effectively and respond promptly in English
• Translate, proofread, copy edit, and perform MTPE for patent content in Chemistry, Computer Science, and Electricity
• Handle an expected weighted volume of 2,000–5,000 words per week

• Minimum two years' experience translating and reviewing content in the patent fields
• Native-level fluency in Spanish (Latin American target language)
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience
• Ability to translate, copy edit, and perform MTPE
• Experience translating patents from English into Spanish
• Experience proofreading patents, specifically in Electricity, Computer Science, and Chemistry
• Immediate availability for patent translation projects
• Ability to follow translation process and CAT tool usage instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively and respond promptly in English
• Experience with XTM CAT tool
