Entrepreneur in Residence – B2B SaaS

• Develop the fundraising strategy, investment story, pitch deck, and financial plan
• Lead the fundraising process from investor pipeline development through pitches and due diligence to closing
• Communicate work2stay’s vision to investors, customers, partners, and future employees
• Personally win the first paying customers and build a repeatable marketing and sales funnel
• Refine the target audience, positioning, pricing, and packaging based on real market feedback
• Assume full CEO responsibility for strategy, financial performance, team, and stakeholders after funding
• Guide the product direction through customer conversations and sales data

• Have founded a company or led an early-stage company in a CEO or comparable entrepreneurial role
• Have raised at least €1 million in external equity as a founder, CEO, or lead responsible person, personally managing the process from investor sourcing and pitching through term sheet and closing
• Understand B2B SaaS and have a proven ability to market, sell, and develop products into recurring revenue streams
• Have hands-on expertise in marketing and sales: positioning, pitching, handling objections, and closing
• Communicate a bold vision convincingly, clearly, and with substance
• Demonstrate a high degree of ownership, decisiveness, and resilience
• Lead people, build trust, and align diverse stakeholders around a shared goal
• Identify with work2stay’s vision and be prepared to lead the company with full responsibility over the long term
• Be prepared to personally cover your living expenses during the initial phase until funding
• Communicate with complete confidence in German and have good communication skills in English

• No salary until the agreed funding round has successfully closed
• Upon closing, receive a 25% equity stake in work2stay, before dilution from the funding round
• The period from joining will count toward the four-year vesting schedule
• Following successful funding, an appropriate CEO salary will be included in the financial plan
