Senior International Payroll Analyst

• Oversee payroll processing and management of assigned payrolls
• Manage ad hoc payroll and benefits projects for international entities
• Support international payroll processing for multiple countries after training
• Monitor local international payroll developments, including housing allowances, income tax withholding calculations, and payroll inquiries
• Collaborate with payroll vendors to ensure pay-impacting transactions are collected, processed, and reported accurately and on time
• Assist Accounting with payroll journals, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and provide support and input
• Serve as a point of contact for payroll queries from employees in Colombia, Brazil, and other assigned payrolls
• Identify and improve payroll processes
• Deliver a strong employee experience for payroll onboarding, ad hoc queries, and annual tax reporting
• Meet legal and internal deadlines
• Apply employment tax requirements to compensation and benefits, including equity
• Oversee tax reviewer, payroll auditor, and payroll inquiries
• Resolve parafiscales and social benefits inquiries from local jurisdictions
• Oversee annual income tax filing where applicable
• Improve payroll-related documentation and procedures
• 6+ years of experience managing payroll processing internationally with working experience in accounting
• Experience with processing equity transactions
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or another relevant field
• High attention to detail
• Discipline and ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize competing workloads
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills while keeping customer experience top of mind
• Experience in Workday and with outside payroll providers
• Customer service focus with the ability and sound judgment to handle highly sensitive information
• Process improvement mindset
• Strong interest in applying emerging technologies such as AI to payroll workflows
• Deep understanding of EMEA labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory filings
• Familiarity with European Works Councils and trade union agreements
• Experience maintaining strict internal controls and auditing payroll processes
• Advanced Excel skills for complex data reconciliation and reporting
• Track record of implementing new payroll systems or transitioning vendors
