Spanish Translator – eCommerce

• Interpret written pieces from English to Colombian Spanish
• Maintain the original meaning, format, and tone of translated materials
• Read and thoroughly understand the context of copy
• Use specialized dictionaries and translation tools
• Proofread finished pieces of work
• Complete a quick test after the application form is successfully completed

• Native Colombian Spanish Speaker
• Availability of at least 5-10 hours a week
• Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or in a similar role is a must
• Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
• Good knowledge of content editing tools
• Familiarity with translation software
• Time-management skills
• Fluency in English in addition to native Colombian Spanish

• Payment per hour for the first 6 months
• Aim for a 10% increment in the first year working with the company
