Trainer for CAD, Artificial Intelligence, and Engineering

• Provide practical training on the fundamentals and potential of AI in engineering
• Teach AI-assisted methods for the design and development process
• Teach modern CAD workflows supported by AI
• Teach Generative Design and automated design variant generation
• Teach AI-assisted decision support in product development
• Teach AI-based error detection and quality assurance
• Evaluate and validate AI-generated design results
• Teach the successful integration of AI into existing development and design processes
• Deliver knowledge in a practical, clear, and audience-focused manner
• Explain the entire design cycle in a comprehensible way—from requirements and concept development through design, variant generation, optimization, and evaluation to documentation

• Completed university degree or technical vocational training in mechanical engineering, design engineering, product development, or a comparable field
• At least two years of professional experience in design, development, or technical engineering
• Very good knowledge of at least one of the following CAD systems: Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Fusion, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks
• Experience with parametric design and modern CAD workflows
• In-depth understanding of product development and design processes in mechanical engineering
• Practical experience using AI productively throughout the development and design process
• Experience using generative AI systems such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or comparable solutions
• Ability to professionally evaluate AI-generated results with regard to functionality, feasibility, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness
• Preferred: Experience with AI features in modern CAD systems
• Preferred: Experience with Generative Design and topology optimization
• Preferred: Knowledge of current developments in AI for design and engineering
• Preferred: Experience optimizing development and design processes
• Preferred: Knowledge of parametric variant design
• Preferred: Experience with prompt engineering for technical applications
• Preferred: Knowledge of data protection, copyright, and responsible AI use in a corporate environment
• Preferred: Experience supporting practical projects or workshops
• Advantageous: Experience with Autodesk Fusion Generative Design or comparable solutions
