Senior Database Developer

• Develop and support database structures and database objects, writing queries and stored procedures using MS SQL and PostgreSQL
• Optimize existing database structures and code
• Modernize and create reports, widgets and dashboards for Veeam ONE, VSPC, and other reporting products
• Rework current business logic to meet new business requirements
• Work closely with analyst and QA teams
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the team

• 5 years of working experience
• Experience with MS SQL (must-have) and PostgreSQL
• Solid understanding of relational database design, indexing, transactions, and query execution plans
• Proven experience writing complex queries, scripts, and stored procedures
• Ability to understand someone else's code
• Leadership and mentoring experience
• Responsibility, diligence, discipline, high efficiency, desire to develop, experience in teamwork
• Understanding of backend development (C#) sufficient to discuss technical solutions with backend teams, agree on how work is split between the database and application layers, and read code when needed (bonus skill)
• Remote work is only possible when the employee is located in the Czech Republic
