Unity Developer – Big Farm Homestead

• Take an active part in game creation and specification, especially client development of complex multiplayer mobile games
• Develop and deliver high-quality LiveOps content for players as part of a dedicated LiveOps team
• Deliver production-ready, well-structured code for a long-running live game
• Identify and propose suitable architectures for new features and weigh trade-offs with the team
• Create and improve asset workflows
• Integrate assets and tune performance on mobile
• Collaborate on innovative new games in interdisciplinary and international teams
• Share knowledge with colleagues
• Collaborate closely with the Sunshine Island team on shared codebases and systems

• Professional experience in games development, ideally including a commercially released Unity title
• Substantial time in production on a title that never shipped is accepted
• Solid knowledge of the Unity game engine for 3D URP games and UGUI
• Confident with Git or a comparable version control system
• Good grasp of OOP principles and software architecture
• At least exposure to data oriented design
• Basic understanding of cross-platform development
• First exposure to iOS and Android mobile development is a plus
• Familiarity with asset management and Addressables
• Experience with client-server applications is a plus
• Curiosity about agile development methods
• Effective and proactive problem-solving
• Comfortable communicating in English
• Enjoyment of international teamwork
• Willingness to be present and chatty on Discord throughout the working day
