Mid-Level Data Scientist, GCP

• Design and develop advanced data models
• Design and build a semantic data layer to power AI Agents
• Develop evaluation systems for AI engines, including LLM-as-a-Judge with faithfulness metrics
• Design, develop, and manage conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Establish architectural guidelines for cataloging, lineage, observability, security, and interoperability
• Develop a robust data quality framework to ensure integrity throughout the data lifecycle
• Create data profiles, define metrics, evaluate metadata solutions, and establish SLA tracking
• Drive the adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as the foundation of the data mesh
• Implement catalog solutions to support data discovery and trust
• Partner with Product and Analytics teams to translate use cases into viable technical requirements
• Lead alignment across different departments and stakeholders
• Promote the team’s continuous technical evolution

• At least 2 years of proven professional experience as a Data Scientist
• Experience across the full implementation lifecycle, from concept through production operations
• More than 3 years of advanced Python development experience, with a focus on data manipulation and analysis using Pandas or similar tools
• Advanced proficiency in SQL
• Strong command of modern data pipeline and orchestration tools
• More than 1 year of hands-on experience designing and building agent workflows
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Google Vertex AI, and the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK)
• Knowledge of LLMs and LLM-as-a-Judge
• Solid experience in semantic layer modeling
• Experience building Knowledge Graphs and Ontologies for data platforms
• Experience using project management tools such as Atlassian Jira
• Advanced English proficiency for daily communication
• Active Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Professional Certifications are a plus
• A master’s degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification in a related field is a plus
