Software Engineer, Python / DevOps

• Develop solutions deployed on container infrastructure or in the cloud
• Implement production monitoring
• Participate in code reviews for other team members
• Share knowledge and ensure development quality
• Propose technical solutions
• Contribute to technology watch and industry best-practice monitoring
• Design, develop, and deploy operational solutions that improve the company’s processes, products, and services
• Work on projects involving information extraction from images and documents, open-data integration and web scraping, graph databases, specialized search engines, and APIs for data monetization

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• Two or more years of experience in a similar role
• Experience developing Python applications to high quality standards
• Strong code review and continuous integration practices
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Neo4j, Elasticsearch, Redis, etc.)
• Experience setting up monitoring dashboards (Kibana, Grafana)
• Self-motivated, curious, team-oriented, and committed to knowledge sharing
• Ability to communicate in English
• Preferred: experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and deploying with Docker/Kubernetes
• Preferred: experience designing highly available application architectures
• Preferred: experience with data science libraries (e.g., Pandas)
• Preferred: knowledge of Linux administration
• Preferred: experience deploying applications in the cloud and using infrastructure as code
• Preferred: front-end programming skills (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.)
