Staff Engineer, Retail Media – AdTech Solutions

• Drive the technical direction of the Retail Media platform
• Design scalable, maintainable architectures and lead the evolution of Node.js/TypeScript microservices and distributed systems
• Design and build high-performance backend services, APIs, and frontend applications using Node.js, React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Architect and optimize data-intensive and asynchronous workflows using MongoDB, Redis, Algolia, BullMQ, and RabbitMQ
• Support campaign management, ad serving, targeting, and reporting
• Lead complex engineering initiatives across teams and drive architectural alignment
• Mentor engineers and establish technical standards that improve engineering quality and platform scalability
• Partner with Product, UX, Analytics, and Retail Media stakeholders to shape technical priorities and translate business needs into AdTech solutions

• Extensive software engineering experience, including experience as a Staff, Principal, Tech Lead, or similar technical leadership role
• Strong expertise in backend engineering, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks
• Proven track record of designing and scaling complex systems
• Experience driving architectural decisions and leading technical initiatives across multiple engineering teams
• Experience in AdTech, ideally Retail Media, sponsored advertising, ad serving, targeting, auctions, or attribution
• Ability to remain hands-on while influencing technical direction, mentoring engineers, and raising engineering standards
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional product environments with Engineering, Product, and business stakeholders
