Senior AI-Assisted Software Engineer

• Own problems end-to-end, from initial discovery through production delivery and support
• Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, engineers, testers, and business stakeholders to define and deliver solutions
• Design and implement backend services, web applications, APIs, integrations, data flows, and cloud-based solutions
• Build prototypes, validate solutions with users, and iteratively improve outcomes
• Ensure solutions meet requirements for scalability, security, resilience, maintainability, and operational readiness
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools for development, testing, troubleshooting, code reviews, migrations, and documentation
• Review and validate AI-generated outputs for quality, security, and correctness
• Drive technical decision-making, architecture discussions, and engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, integrations, infrastructure, and data environments
• Mentor team members and communicate technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences

• Based in Czechia
• Strong hands-on experience delivering production software in enterprise environments
• Experience across software development, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, CI/CD, testing, and production operations
• Ability to transform unclear requirements into production-ready solutions
• Strong understanding of software architecture, security, scalability, performance, maintainability, and operational excellence
• Experience with distributed systems and enterprise integrations
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills
• Experience making technical decisions under uncertainty and documenting architectural choices
• Practical experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted engineering tools
• Understanding of AI-assisted development practices, including validation of generated outputs and awareness of AI-related risks
• Excellent communication skills and professional proficiency in English
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kotlin, Python, Django, FastAPI, React, or TypeScript (nice to have)
• Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Infrastructure as Code, and GitHub Actions (nice to have)
• Knowledge of Kafka, Azure Service Bus, API gateways, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB (nice to have)
• Experience with RAG, Agentic AI, Model Context Protocol (MCP), AI observability, or application modernization initiatives (nice to have)
• Background in logistics, pricing, planning, workflow automation, or enterprise platform development (nice to have)
