Principal Software Development Engineer in Test – Lead

• Design and architect scalable, distributed testing frameworks and automated benchmarking tools for advanced cloud computing platforms
• Guide and mentor a team of engineers
• Define technical vision, roadmap, and best practices for performance engineering and automated validation
• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks across various platforms
• Define and enforce performance criteria, SLAs, and latency targets across global compute fleet deployments
• Design, scale, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, automated regression, and performance testing
• Collaborate with developers, SRE, datacenter operations, and the Meerkat team
• Resolve performance bottlenecks and establish hardware validation standards
• Process performance telemetry, build predictive capacity models, and publish actionable technical insights
• Analyze performance data and create actionable documents for the Compute team

• Explicit knowledge and understanding of high-level hardware and software performance objectives
• Data analysis techniques for complex performance telemetry and predictive capacity models
• Expertise in Python
• Experience with Go
• Linux/Bash scripting for backend automation, system tools, and test suites
• CI/CD and DevOps integration
• Jenkins for pipeline scaling
• Advanced Git workflows
• Extensive practical expertise with Linux-based operating systems
• Experience using AI to accelerate development tasks
