Senior Data Integration Specialist – Smart Grid Software

• Join a currently four-person team
• Build digital twins of power grids in Venios.Net
• Design and take responsibility for the functional and technical architecture
• Integrate data sources and systems such as GIS, SCADA, metering systems, asset data, and weather and forecast data
• Validate the data provided
• Collaborate with project management, product management, development, DevOps, and customers
• Provide technical advice and act as a sparring partner for internal and external stakeholders
• Support the implementation team with pilots and rollouts

• Completed degree in a STEM discipline, preferably computer science, geoinformatics, electrical engineering, or physics
• Several years of programming experience, preferably in high-level languages such as C#
• Several years of experience as a data integrator, systems integrator, or in a comparable role
• Experience with complex data models, integration architectures, and APIs
• Ideally, knowledge of the energy industry or smart-grid environment
• Knowledge of power-grid structures and geographic information systems is a plus
• Strong understanding of IT architectures, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and data architectures
• Excellent German and English skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex relationships clearly
• Residence in, or authorization to work in, Germany or Austria
