QA Automation Engineer, Junior

• Ensure the quality of a technology solution based on generative AI, intelligent agents, and application integration.
• Support the planning, execution, and automation of tests for web applications, APIs, and integrated services.
• Define the test plan and develop scenarios using BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
• Develop and execute functional, exploratory, and regression test cases and scenarios.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for web applications and APIs under technical guidance.
• Support the expansion of automated test coverage.
• Perform REST API testing by validating requests, responses, and error handling.
• Execute integration tests between components and services.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Perform retesting to validate implemented fixes.
• Identify, document, and track the resolution of failures using management tools.
• Participate in refinement sessions and contribute to defining acceptance criteria.
• Document test scenarios, results, and evidence.
• Support the integration and execution of automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with other team members.
• Support the validation of AI-based features and solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software quality processes and practices.

• Basic knowledge of software testing and Quality Assurance (QA) fundamentals.
• Knowledge of creating and executing test cases.
• Familiarity with functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and HTTP requests, as well as experience using Postman or similar tools.
• Basic knowledge and practical, academic, or professional experience with test automation using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent tools.
• Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript programming applied to test automation.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and logical reasoning.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, proactivity, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Interest in learning new technologies and developing test automation skills.
• Preferred: knowledge of API test automation.
• Preferred: basic knowledge of SQL.
• Preferred: familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Preferred: experience executing automated tests in continuous integration pipelines.
• Preferred: academic experience, internship, or personal projects related to software quality.
• Preferred: interest in or knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, and AI agents.
• Preferred: familiarity with integration testing and microservices-based applications.
• Preferred: basic knowledge of Docker or cloud environments, especially Azure.
