Frontend Developer

• Develop and maintain client-side logic and support systems
• Enable responsive, coherent, and pleasant user experiences
• Design and execute project plans
• Develop and execute unit testing
• Maintain source code
• Create reusable code libraries
• Participate in API definition with back-end developers
• Create and maintain detailed source code and API documentation
• Bring UI wireframes to life
• Help define how applications look and feel
• Collaborate closely with back-end developers
• Grow toward full-stack development

• 7+ years of software development work experience
• Degree in computer engineering or related discipline
• Strong in JavaScript, React.js, Redux, HTML5, and CSS3
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material Design
• Experience designing RESTful web services
• Knowledge of modern web application design principles
• Experience constructing and ingesting XML and JSON
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
• Experience building portable code, particularly React Native
• Knowledge of application servers such as Apache, Node.js, and Nginx
• Familiarity with Linux
• Ability to work independently and solve programming problems with minimal oversight
• Ability to work in a team with diverse technical backgrounds
• Ability to provide technical requirements
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
