Full Stack Engineer, Ruby on Rails

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Ruby on Rails applications and backend services
• Build and maintain APIs and integrations with internal and external systems
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver new features and improvements
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and production issues
• Support application performance, reliability, and scalability improvements
• Contribute to testing, deployment, and continuous integration processes
• Document technical solutions and share knowledge with the wider team
• Continuously develop technical skills and stay current with industry best practices
• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers on a modern, scalable platform
• Solve complex technical challenges and contribute to high-quality product delivery

• Commercial experience developing applications using Ruby on Rails
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering principles
• Experience with React or TypeScript
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience working with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD practices
• Experience using Git and collaborating within an Agile development environment
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote and collaborative environment
• Fluent English communication skills
• Knowledge of Docker and containerised applications
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Redis, or Elasticsearch
• Experience working within SaaS, e-commerce, or technology-focused businesses
• Right to work in Bulgaria
