Dot NET Developer – Contract Role

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications, including admin and franchisee portals, using C#, .NET 8, ASP.NET Core MVC, Razor Pages, and jQuery
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services
• Develop and support .NET 8 APIs consumed by the iOS app and Next.js/React member portal
• Build and maintain .NET 8 Worker Services for scheduled and long-running background jobs
• Write clean, testable code and maintain unit and integration tests
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries using Entity Framework Core
• Manage schema changes through Liquibase changelogs and PowerShell scripts
• Use Azure DevOps Repos and Pipelines to build and promote releases through DEV/QA, UAT, and PROD
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance and security

• 6+ years of professional experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core MVC, Razor Pages, Web API, and Entity Framework Core
• Working knowledge of jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and common design patterns
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL version 16 or later and writing efficient SQL
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards), including environment-based branching, in Agile/Scrum teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience with .NET 8 and Visual Studio 2026 or recent Visual Studio versions
• Preferred: Experience with Azure services or AWS equivalents
• Preferred: Knowledge of microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Preferred: Front-end experience with Next.js and React
• Preferred: Familiarity with RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Preferred: Experience with DBeaver and Liquibase Community CLI
• Preferred: Familiarity with Visual Studio Code and Node.js version 22 or later
• Preferred: PowerShell scripting for database and deployment tasks
