Senior Frontend Engineer – Salon Ops

• Build fast, ambitious web applications for Phorest’s salon software platform
• Collaborate closely with the product team to build features with significant business impact
• Identify bottlenecks and improve the frontend developer experience
• Work with the design team to build elegant and intuitive UI components
• Understand business context and develop creative engineering solutions
• Work in a small, nimble team of technical experts
• Apply maintainable, reusable, clean code and unit testing practices
• Develop automated unit and acceptance tests
• Pursue current technologies and improve solutions
• Coach teammates through code reviews and whiteboarding sessions
• Participate in team-level solution design and implementation
• Challenge existing norms and contribute opinions

• Strong proficiency and at least 5 years of professional experience with Ember.js or any other modern JS Framework
• Knowledge and understanding of JavaScript, its fundamentals, and latest developments in JavaScript
• Experience in working with and building RESTful APIs; GraphQL is a bonus
• Ability to reason about trade-offs when discussing frontend technologies
• Ability to inspire and motivate, maintaining technical innovation and excellence
• High coding standards, excellent attention to detail, and a methodological work process
