Staff Software Engineer, Fullstack / Frontend Focus – Governance

• Own the front-end architecture end to end for the governance product
• Assess existing work, determine what to retain or rethink, and build the resulting solution
• Design and build interfaces for reviewing and acting on policy violations, compliance risks, and governance findings
• Make organizational structures and knowledge-graph relationships legible and navigable
• Apply product and UX judgment to complex, high-stakes governance and compliance workflows
• Build and maintain the front end, primarily using TypeScript
• Contribute to backend work involving data structures, APIs, knowledge graphs, and agent systems; backend technologies include Go and Python
• Propose, defend, and implement technical approaches with end-to-end ownership
• Use AI coding tools as a core part of the development workflow
• Partner with AI and backend engineers to turn agent-driven insights into usable product interfaces

• Strong front-end fundamentals and ability to make architectural decisions
• Product and UX judgment for complex, information-dense workflows
• Track record turning complex or ambiguous data into clear, usable interfaces
• Comfortable with backend fundamentals including databases, data structures, APIs, and system design
• Experience across multiple technology stacks; technology agnostic
• History of starting projects from zero and owning them end to end
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and independence in a fast-moving, remote-first team
• Heavy, real fluency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code
• Preferred: experience in governance, risk, compliance, security, regulated, or data-heavy domains
• Preferred: experience visualizing graphs, networks, or relationships
• Preferred: startup experience building from scratch
• Preferred: backend build experience; Go and Python are used
• Preferred: comfort working fully remote across time zones with overlap with EU hours
