Frontend Engineer

• Build and improve end-user identity verification flows, focusing on performance, responsiveness, accessibility, poor network conditions, and error handling
• Develop and maintain client-facing and internal admin interfaces for operating the fraud-prevention platform
• Integrate evolving backend APIs into resilient frontend workflows and identify contract issues
• Make architectural decisions about component structure, state and data flow, testing, and maintainability
• Collaborate with Product and Design on technical feasibility and implementation trade-offs
• Own features from implementation through delivery, ensuring reliability and technical quality
• Report directly to the Frontend Lead
• Help shape the evolution of Surt's growing fraud-prevention and identity platform

• Strong hands-on experience building and shipping production web applications using React
• Ability to independently deliver reliable, production-ready features from rough problems or partial designs
• Strong judgment around state management, API integration, performance, edge cases, and interface quality
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to design or API decisions
• Strong attention to user experience
• Strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and willingness to contribute to an evolving product and engineering environment
• Experience with React Native or React Native Web is nice to have
• Experience building consumer-facing flows, client portals, or operational dashboards is nice to have
• A software engineering degree from INSAT or a comparable engineering institute is a plus, not a requirement
• Equivalent practical experience is welcome
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to the technology stack

• Optional relocation to Barcelona
• Visa support available for relocation to Surt's Barcelona office
• Remaining remote from Tunisia can be considered
