Performance Test Engineer, Non-Functional

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and resilience testing activities
• Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks and reusable testing assets
• Perform API testing and validation across REST and SOAP services
• Analyse application and system performance to identify bottlenecks and risks
• Produce detailed test reports and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
• Contribute to non-functional test strategy, planning, estimation, and test execution activities
• Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and operations teams throughout the SDLC
• Support root cause analysis and performance optimisation initiatives
• Leverage monitoring and observability tools to validate application behaviour
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tooling, and quality practices

• ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent testing qualification
• 5+ years of software testing experience, with at least 3 years focused on non-functional or performance testing
• Proven experience in performance, load, stress, scalability, and reliability testing
• Strong API testing experience with REST and SOAP services, request chaining, parameterisation, and functional validation
• Hands-on experience with Postman, JMeter, and LoadRunner or NeoLoad
• Experience creating and maintaining test frameworks and test assets
• Experience analysing and presenting test results to technical and business stakeholders
• Strong defect management and reporting experience
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Knowledge of Azure ecosystems and cloud-hosted applications
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery practices
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana, and Azure Application Insights
• SQL for test data creation, validation, and analysis
• Jira and Confluence experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Ability to interpret performance metrics and identify root causes
• Attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong reporting and documentation skills
