Senior Back-End Developer, Java – Global Insights & Strategy

• Design, develop, enhance, and support new and existing products and features
• Implement and evaluate AI and LLM-based solutions for business problems and process improvement
• Collaborate with engineers on technical architecture and complex technical challenges
• Follow SDLC and documentation best practices
• Create quality designs, conduct unit testing, automate appropriate processes, and participate in code reviews
• Collaborate across the organization to analyze initiatives and propose solutions
• Ensure code meets performance, reliability, quality, security, and testability standards for high-traffic and high-availability systems
• Learn and apply new technologies to improve applications
• Develop scalable data visualization solutions

• 5+ years with Java
• 1+ year each with JavaScript and React
• 3+ years with SQL, ideally including PostgreSQL or Redshift
• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, OOP, and performance optimization
• Experience designing and developing RESTful backend services
• Experience writing and maintaining automated unit tests
• Experience with product experimentation, A/B testing, and business metrics/KPIs
• Experience working with cross-functional product teams
• Experience developing scalable data visualization solutions
• Ability to work full-time in Americas time zones for candidates outside the American continent
