Senior Software Consultant – Enterprise Architecture Management, HOPEX

• Provide independent functional and technical consulting to customers on the introduction, further development, customization, and stable operation of software solutions in EAM, Data Governance, and ITSM
• Design, moderate, and manage requirements and functional workshops
• Capture and translate complex business requirements into practical solution concepts
• Map EAM scenarios such as Application Portfolio Management, technology lifecycle management, IT architecture landscapes, EA roadmaps, and data and information architectures
• Configure and extend HOPEX, including metamodel extensions, views, dashboards, reports, and automated workflows
• Design and implement interfaces to third-party systems, for example via REST APIs
• Evaluate and apply modern technologies, including AI-supported approaches, to optimize data flows, processes, and analyses
• Create specifications, test cases, and technical documentation
• Conduct acceptance testing, manage the formal handover, and ensure solution quality
• Deliver end-user and key-user training and ensure sustainable knowledge transfer
• Collaborate with software vendors on releases, support tickets, product roadmaps, and implementation projects
• Manage customer projects in a structured and reliable manner, track tasks and decisions, and escalate risks and delays at an early stage
• Coordinate stakeholders and actively lead customer engagements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a comparable IT qualification
• At least 3 years of solid professional experience in software product consulting, system integration, software development, or technical IT consulting
• Demonstrable experience independently delivering functional and technical software solutions for customers
• Solid programming and IT skills in Java, SQL, and UML
• Understanding of modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Extensive practical experience in interface design and system integration, particularly REST APIs
• Experience using AI tools and platforms in practice, for example for research, documentation, and code generation
• Understanding of AI-supported integration and automation scenarios
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Excellent communication skills and a confident professional manner
• German language skills at least at C1 level (fluent)
• Very good written and spoken English
• Willingness to travel on a project basis for customer workshops and on-site appointments
• Practical experience with Bizzdesign HOPEX or comparable enterprise architecture, ITSM, or BPM platforms is an advantage
• In-depth methodological understanding of EAM disciplines is an advantage
• Knowledge of single sign-on/SAML 2.0 and certificate management is an advantage
• Experience in operational application support, release management, or migration approaches is an advantage
