Senior SAP ABAP Consultant

• Translate approved functional specifications into detailed technical designs (Technical Design Documents)
• Develop complex solutions using ABAP, OData, CDS, workflows, integrations, reports, and batch processes
• Prepare interface mappings and support security reviews
• Conduct code reviews and produce evidence of unit testing and design adherence (build-to-design)
• Update the technical debt register
• Manage the transport sequence, deployment checklist, rollback plan, and smoke test plan
• Execute SIT and support UAT, including defect triage, traceability, and performance and security evidence
• Provide production support, including incident triage, reconciliation, runbooks, and the known-error list
• Collaborate with the Master Data, OTC, Security, Basis, Integration, and Demand Planning teams

• Hands-on experience with SAP implementation projects
• Experience with S/4HANA projects
• Experience supporting high-volume production environments
• Strong ABAP experience, including Object-Oriented ABAP, complex data structures, Open SQL, functional programming (ABAP 7.4+ syntax), dynamic programming, debugging and performance tuning, ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), advanced CDS Views, OData V2 and V4 services, BAPIs and web services, and RFC communication
• Technical knowledge of customizing and configuration tables, number ranges and numbering sequences, enqueue and locking mechanisms, system integration via RFC, authorization objects, SAP Workflow, and change and transport management
• Experience with Eclipse (ADT) and GitHub
• Ability to prepare technical documentation and follow architecture and governance standards
• Advanced English proficiency
