Senior Accountant

• Manage general ledger accounting activities and ensure accurate financial records
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor balance sheet accounts
• Review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for accuracy
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal financial policies
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and financial reports
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and inconsistencies
• Collaborate with Finance and other departments to improve accounting processes
• Prepare financial reports and provide accounting insights to management
• Support process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, general ledger management, or similar roles
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Experience managing month-end and year-end closing processes
• Proven experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Must)
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet financial reporting deadlines
• Based in LATAM
• Availability to work full-time in a remote environment
• Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS (Nice to have)
• Experience working with international or US-based companies (Nice to have)
• English proficiency: B2 or higher (Preferred)
