• Evaluate, optimize, and guide the evolution of Azure environments for managed services customers
• Lead Azure Well-Architected Reviews
• Identify architectural risks and modernization opportunities
• Develop cost optimization recommendations
• Translate customer requirements into practical, well-scoped solutions
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Customer Success, and senior architecture resources
• Improve the reliability, security, operational maturity, and cost efficiency of customer environments
• Contribute to reusable architecture standards, assessment templates, and governance practices
• Help define and validate automation and AI-enabled workflows for architecture assessments
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, consulting, managed services, or related technical roles, including 3+ years of hands-on Azure experience
• Strong understanding of Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Backup, Azure Monitor, Azure Policy, and Azure Cost Management
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework
• Experience participating in architecture reviews, design reviews, technical governance, or customer-facing architecture engagements
• Ability to translate technical and business requirements into practical Azure-based solutions
• Ability to evaluate architectural risks and tradeoffs and develop solution recommendations, implementation approaches, scope definitions, assumptions, dependencies, and effort estimates
• Experience evaluating cloud environments and identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency, operational maturity, reliability, and performance
• Strong written communication, presentation, and documentation skills
• Ability to lead technical discussions and explain architectural recommendations and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across Operations, Engineering, Customer Success, and architecture teams
• Sound judgment to identify when initiatives exceed managed services scope and require consulting or senior architecture involvement
